COVID-19 Business Support Grants – Top-Up Payment

Has your business been significantly affected by the current (July 2021) Victorian lockdown?

The Victorian Government has just released a new Business Support Grant for businesses and sole traders that have been affected by the lockdown extension announced for Victoria this week.

See information below regarding this “Top-up Payment”

 

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the July 2021 Top-Up payment, businesses must have successfully applied for the Business Costs Assistance Program Round Two or the Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021.

*NOTE: If you did not apply for the original Business Costs Assistance Program Round Two or Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021 and would like to apply for the July 2021 Top-Up Payment, click here to start your application

You must also be registered for GST to apply for this “Top-Up” payment. If you are not registered for GST, you will need to apply for the “Disaster Payment” through MyGov.

Grant amount

The amount of this grant varies, depending on industry type.

Do you need to apply? 

If you successfully applied for the Business Costs Assistance Program Round Two or Licensed Hospitality Venue Fund 2021 back in the June 2021 lock-down, you do not need to apply for the Business Support Grant – you will be automatically enrolled.

Once your initial application has been assessed and deemed successful, the payment will be processed automatically and paid into the same bank account you nominated for the original application.

If you did not apply for the previous grants, and would like to apply for the Business Support Grant, to start your application.

If you are applying for the grant, you will need your ANZSIC code. Click here to find your code!

 

When do applications close? 

August 13th, 2021 – please make sure your application is submitted by this date.
